You can now listen to my song on La Voix’s album!
At just 17 years old, Jade Mathieu is a passionate singer-songwriter whose musical journey is marked by both early talent and remarkable versatility. She has been singing with ease and emotion since the age of six, and by seven, she was already enrolled in a specialized music program. Today, she plays a wide range of instruments—including piano, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, percussion, and drums—and is currently studying jazz vocals at Cégep de Saint-Laurent in Montreal.
In 2026, Jade reached an exciting new milestone by joining La Voix on TVA. As a member of Mario Pelchat’s team, she is already making a strong impression in the qualification rounds, captivating audiences with the power of her voice and her commanding stage presence.
Her talent first gained national attention in 2024 on Canada’s Got Talent, where she won over both judges and viewers, earning the coveted Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel. She advanced to the semifinals, highlighted by a standout performance of “The Impossible Dream / La Quête,” which she delivered in both French and English as a tribute to Canada’s bilingual identity.
The year before, in 2023, Jade competed on The Voice Kids in France. Her performance of Céline Dion’s “All By Myself” earned a rare four-chair turn, and she chose to join Slimane’s team. She once again made it to the semifinals, delivering a deeply moving rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing.”
Over the years, Jade has earned top honors in numerous singing competitions across Quebec, consistently demonstrating her ability to connect with audiences. The media have already begun to take notice of her exceptional potential, with some even dubbing her a “future Céline Dion” in recognition of her powerful voice and natural charisma.
Offstage, Jade is just as inspiring. Since 2022, she has served as a spokesperson for Autisme Laval. Having been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder herself, she is committed to encouraging young people and their families, showing that differences can be a source of strength.
For Jade, music is far more than a career—it’s a calling, a way of life, and a constant source of inspiration. She dreams of sharing her original music with audiences around the world and touching hearts, one song at a time.
